As vehicles become increasingly more electronic, the susceptibility of internal electromagnetic waves emitting and interfering with other circuits or devices increases. EMI shielding reduces electronic malfunction susceptibility by blocking unwanted external electromagnetic waves.
Our EMI shielding mesh has a small wire diameter compared to the ratio of mesh open area, which produces a more lightweight mesh different from standard square mesh.
The wire mesh is woven and plated for high levels of electric conductivity, while remaining uniform and consistent to limit impacting the optics. It is available in blackened copper as well as silver plated and blackened stainless steel. We can form or fabricate the mesh into your housing design.

Our stamping and forming expertise enable us to deliver a wide range of solutions for our customers – for example, manufacturing three different types of ends for in-line strainers (fish tail, bag fold and bottom welded), in addition to welding the stamped piece to the flange or top of the strainer.
We supply electro-chemical Nickel meshes used in fuel cells and batteries. The mesh is used for membrane or electrode substrates, current collectors, flow field screens and gas diffusion electrodes. Our ColdBond process mechanically bonds the wires at each cross section, enhancing mesh rigidity, improving conductivity and reducing/eliminating frayed wires. Wire cloth thickness can be precisely controlled to provide very thin material that is ideal for electrodes.
